A few months ago I broke my ankle and needed surgery. Afterward, I was told that I wouldn't need physical therapy because I was healing so well. However, as a volleyball player, and a teenager, getting back on to the court proved to be harder than I thought. Britt was wonderful with understanding my drive to get back on the court and my eagerness to heal fast. Britt was able to work with me around my busy schedule, too. Within six weeks or so I was able to be back on the court with full confidence and excitement in how far I'd come in so little time! I would wholeheartedly recommend Britt to anyone who has any need for physical therapy big or small!

I was hesitant to start physical therapy for joint pain, especially during this pandemic. I chose virtual therapy at this time to prevent the spread. Britt was amazing! The therapy reduced my pain and has helped me tremendously. I sing her praises and appreciated her expertise to reduce my joint pain.

Britt is AMAZING! She is incredibly patient and willing to work with you, but you also have to do your homework! I started getting sciatica pain near the end of my pregnancy (3 years prior from when I started with Britt) and thought this will go away as soon as I have this baby. It did to some extent but little did I know that many things in my life were having me constantly bend over creating a bulge in that disc and leading to further sciatica flare ups! After a Mackenzie Method recommendation from a coworker I started searching in this area and found Britt! She has been such a blessing to my life. In a couple short months of meeting once or twice a week, we got the pain under control and I have had minimal flare ups since seeing her because I continue to do my "homework"! It all starts with You! You can do it and Britt will help you!

Low Back Pain

Jeff

"I had been having lower back pain for years. I finally got to the point where I was sick of it.
I called on Britt Zink, She diagnosed me within 20 minutes, educated me using models (which I appreciate) gave me exercises and sent me on my way.
My pain almost instantly went away. Each re-evaluation appointment, Britt would check my progress, assign me more exercises and each week I got results.
I can't say thank you enough to Britt for how good my back feels."

Back Pain with Sciatica

Bob

"Britt treated me for a particularly painful case of sciatica. She was extremely professional, but very easy to work with. I always knew the nature of my problem, and the reason for the activities which made up my treatment. The problem began to ease right away and progressed regularly over the period of my treatment. When a particular exercise was tried which didn't prove to be helpful, we quickly moved on from it. Britt is an exceptional therapist, an easy person to work with, and someone I would recommend to anyone needing physical therapy for their back."

Low Back Pain and Sciatica

Rich

"I injured my back while lifting a heavy trolling motor. I had pain in the lower back that spread to the hip, buttocks, leg and foot on my right side. I also had a tingling burning sensation run up and down the leg. I couldn't walk to the mailbox across the street, stand in one place for 30 seconds, lay on my back or my stomach. I I got online and discovered that I had a sciatic nerve issue due to a bulging or herniated disc. I figured the issue would disappear with time but I was wrong. I met with my doctor who checked me out and sent me to Britt for physical therapy. I wasn't sold on physical therapy but figured if it worked it sure beat shots or surgery so I went to Britt and within 3 .5 weeks she had me pain free. She also gave me a follow up plan to strengthen my core muscles and instructions to follow if I had a flareup. Britt was very patient with me. We worked together through a series of baby steps up to the daily routine I needed to perform to relieve the pain. Britt is a very nice person who really cares about her patients. I looked forward to my sessions with her. It was not all work and pain. I hope I never have another flareup but if I do, I will return to Britt to perform her magic on me. I really appreciate everything she did for me and I'm grateful my doctor sent me to her. I'll miss her."

Low Back Pain & Wrist Pain

Julie

"I would highly recommend Britt for Physical Therapy. She is very knowledgeable and professional in how she treated me for my low back and wrist pain. After my initial evaluation and exercises I noticed a great deal of pain relief within 2 treatments. She is very proactive and encourage you to exercise whenever you have symptoms. She was my partner in getting my wrist and back pain eliminated and my hand strength back to pre-injury status.
She is wonderful. I will return to Britt whenever I need physical therapy."

"The first time I came to see Britt, I could hardly walk and the pain was unbearable- Sciatic Nerve. She helped me through some exercises and showed me how to do some at home by myself. I was impressed how thorough and caring she was. She became a friend who helped me and cared for me. I learned from her I could do things to help myself. Today I am back to my normal self thanks to Britt."

Neck and Shoulder Pain

Heidi

"I was referred to Britt by my primary physician. From the moment I walked in, Britt was a pleasure to work with. She took the time to get to know me as a person and how my injury was affecting my life. I quickly felt the results of Britt's treatments and she empowered me with at-home techniques to keep me on the right track.
I don't want to sound overly dramatic, but Britt turned my life around! I am now feeling great, running again, and look forward to new adventures! Britt really gave me my life back and I am truly blessed to know her!"

Headaches, Neck & Back Pain

"I am so thankful that my physician referred me to not just ANY physical therapist but SPECIFICALLY Britt Zink, PT. She is absolutely WONDERFUL and knew just how to help me with my specific problem.
I would challenge everyone who needs any type of PT to request Britt. Your appointments are on-on-one and she so sincerely wants to help everyone she can!"

Rib, Spine & Pelvis Fractures

Tom

"I had a terrible accident that left me with multiple fractures and terrible pain. I went from a life of actively playing with my grandkids to a life wondering if I would ever get out of bed and walk again. When I found Britt Zink, I was walking with a walker but was in terrible pain and even the littlest things caused terrible pain and fatigue. My experience with Britt Zink was different than other therapists I had seen in that she treated me in the comfort of my own home, and I didn't have to perform my exercises in a crowded PT gym where I was surrounded by other patients while my PT attended to someone else. This one-on-one individualized care in the comfort of my own home was critical to my recovery. And she provided me with things I could do in between sessions to help myself to recover. My pain is significantly reduced and I can now walk without a walker or cane, can go up and down stairs, and I am now attending my grandkids' activities. She is extremely knowledgeable and gifted as a therapist. I give her the highest rating I could give."

Shoulder Pain

Bill

"My shoulders had been bothering me for 7-8 months. My doctor referred me to Britt Zink for Physical Therapy and within two weeks the pain was gone. Within another two weeks my flexibility was completely normal again. Britt is very knowledgeable about therapy options. She is very flexible about adjusting based on my physical concerns and limitations and knew exactly the adjustments to make as I progressed. I wish I hadn't waited so long before getting her help. She is a real pro."

Neck and Shoulder Pain

Pam

"I am so thankful my primary care physician referred me to Britt. I was with the belief that I was going to have to accept a very sore and quite useless arm/shoulder and just live with it. I found in Britt a most kind, caring, understanding and best of all healing physical therapist. I am, again, doing things with my arm/shoulder that I had been unable to do. Britt gave me a program (exercise program) to maintain and increase my strength. I have and will continue to recommend Britt to my family and friends and highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you Britt!"

Hip Pain

Earl

"A few months ago my left hip began to hurt as I walk. For several months my wife gave me a hard time about the way I was walking. I kept tell her I'm seventy now and it was just my 'old man' walk. When I had enough of my wife I finally agreed to see a doctor. He said I needed a hip replaced whenever I was ready. After listening to several doctors I decided to see about some therapy. After several visits with Britt Zink which were 'pleasant' but 'tough' I now can walk for 2 miles with no pain, and have an exercise program for home. As a bonus my wife now quit bugging me cause my 'old man' walk is gone."

Hip and Leg Pain

Diane

"I began to have sporadic pain and discomfort in my hips somewhere in my 40's. As you can imagine, this do not improve with age and eventually I had to have both hips surgically replaced. After surgery the pain in my hips resolved, but with increased activity I continued to have severe pain in both my legs and was still unable to do normal activities or walk any distance without severe pain. Then a friend of mine who had a knee replacements told me about a physical therapist she had seen who helped her recovery immensely. So I decided to give it a try and made an appointment with Britt Zink Physical Therapy. I was very pleased with the personalized program and one on one attention I received from Britt Zink. She listened closely when I told her my symptoms. I had my doubts about the level of recovery I would achieve but Britt was as determined to help me as I was to recover. I followed the exercise program she put me on and didn't give up even when it seemed I wasn't progressing as quickly as I had hoped.
I am very happy to say that now I am able to go for walks again and be very physically active. Spring fever has new meaning for me this year. I am so excited to go for long hikes again! I am so grateful to Britt. I can go shopping with my granddaughters again! '
If you are going through something similar, I encourage you to contact Britt and if you follow her suggestions and DON'T GIVE UP, she will help you get back to a normal healthy lifestyle again. Thank you, Britt!"

Knee Replacement and Low Back Pain

Joan

I came to Britt Zink PT as a recommendation from a friend. I had a new knee, and after surgery I also needed some PT for my back. Britt is amazing in the way she encourages and helps you reach that goal of returning to the life you have envisioned! Be ready for her many questions; Where does it hurt? When does it hurt sitting, standing? Does the pain continue after the exercise? How do you sleep at night? (You might try a pillow between your knees.) What you are taking for pain? And the list goes on, she jots the information on her pad and then she has many options of movements and machines that help you get the motion back. She has a delightful personality and you definitely have the feeling that she really cares about you making the progress that you have envisioned for yourself. She has a remarkable way of making you want to work hard so you don't disappoint her or yourself. She'll always be my P.T.!"
